These extraordinary hand-made crystalline ceramic  vases and urns feature the highly prized macro crystalline glaze. The stunning crystals on these items are up to 3" in diameter and result from the skillful use of a glaze material created to form zinc-silicate crystals, which literally grow as the kiln cools.

Crystal glaze colorings include the deep, rich cobalt blue, favored for its bright clarity; a delicate silver on light blue, which produces a gentle aqua tone flecked with silver crystals; gold on yellow, a princely combination; rose on pink or white background; and combinations of two or more crystals.

No two pieces are alike. While glazes may appear similar in color, the crystal growth patterns are unique to each piece, making each a distinct work of art.

While each vase is a delicate, hand-made item and should be treated with care, they are all sturdy and fairly rugged.
